Another week, another confession….
My hair is really curly. I have it thermally straightened.
(I know some of you already know this, but there are new people to inform!)
When I should step in.
These two neighbor girls, for the last two nights, have called the house really late, to “prank” call. Mostly they just say, what are you doing, we’re bored, make some funny noises and hang up. Pretty harmless, except….
Tonight, they called at 11:00pm, and woke my sleeping two year old. NOT COOL.
I was SO mad, I walked over to the house I thought they were at, but then I wasn’t sure it was where they were, so I chickened out and came home.
At what point do I call the parents and say, okay, it was harmless at first, but now it is really annoying?
You know you have been watching too much Americal Idol, when your three year old son makes a complete mess, and when questioned about it says,
“Okay, so look, dog, here’s the good news……”
I can never have too many: Flip flops
I can never have enough: sunshine
There’s always room for one more: kid in my new burb
I probably still need a few more: ounces of patience
I am still searching for the perfect: dress
I can’t resist: Bochner Chocolates
I am fiercely loyal to: the truth
I am happy that I have found: some new friends
I can’t get through my day without: an iced mocha
I could probably do without: about fifty pounds
I need to get rid of: the scale
okay people, in order for this to work we need some active participation. there are some of us doing all the confessing for the silent majority. confession is good for the soul…..
I have attended (dare I say) four Neil Diamond concerts…. one as an adult.
I know, it is sad.
You know you have had a great weekend when you spent fourteen hours at a ball field (nine stolen bases, and four strike-outs in his first two innings ever pitched, but who’s counting
), you still had time to get the lawn mowed, and have dinner at the Chart house!
